MILPITAS, Calif., Aug. 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (NASDAQ:LITE) Lumentum Holdings Inc. ("Lumentum") will provide its expectations for fiscal first quarter 2016 after market close on August 11, 2015. Management will host a call to discuss fiscal first quarter 2016 expectations and provide commentary on business trends. The call will start at 2:30pm PT on August 11, 2015. Previously, this call had been scheduled for 1:15pm PT.

Lumentum was formerly the Communications and Commercial Optical Products segment ("CCOP") of JDSU Uniphase ("JDSU") and commenced operations as an independent, publicly-traded company on August 1, 2015.  The company started trading on the NASDAQ stock market under the ticker symbol LITE on August 4, 2015. Lumentum does not expect to release standalone GAAP financials for the fiscal fourth quarter and full year 2015 prior to, or contemporaneous with, the August 11, 2015 call and therefore will be unable to provide detailed commentary on its non-GAAP results for these time periods.

Lumentum was part of JDSU – newly named Viavi Solutions Inc. ("Viavi") – during the fiscal fourth quarter of 2015. Viavi will announce its fiscal fourth quarter and full year 2015 results, incorporating those of CCOP prior to the spin-off of Lumentum, on August 11, 2015 at 1:15pm PT.
