MILPITAS, Calif., Nov. 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lumentum Holdings Inc. (“Lumentum”) announced today that it received the 2015 “Excellent Core Partner” award from Huawei -- one of the world's foremost providers of network solutions for the telecommunications market. This represents the fifth time in six years that Lumentum has won this distinction.

Lumentum President and CEO Alan Lowe accepted the award from Huawei’s Kevin Wu, SVP of Global Procurement, Chief of Production Procurement Committee, and Member of Global Procurement Committee. Mr. Lowe received an inscribed plaque on stage at Huawei’s annual Core Partner Conference held recently in Shenzhen, China. Out of the approximately 1,000 Huawei suppliers, only 140 are invited to the event and then only a handful actually get this coveted and prestigious award. It is the highest honor given by Huawei to any of its suppliers.
